Rosetta (Rose) Bowman (91) of Port Orange, Florida, passed from her earthly life to her eternal rest on August 13, 2024. She was well cared for in her last few months after her fall. Rose was born to Joseph and Regina (Dominic) Bushey on July 26, 1933.
Rose was a member of the lay Carmelite Order with St. Joseph’s in Bunnell, Florida. Rose was very active in several choirs at her churches and enjoyed singing. Rose served in the Military in the Women’s Army Corp. and was a proud veteran of her service.
Rose married Henry (Henny) Carroll and they had a son Jeffrey Carroll. Henny predeceased Rose in 1991. Rose married Wylie (Bo) Bowman and gained a daughter Donna. Bo also predeceased Rose in 2008.
Rose is survived by Jeff and his wife Becky, their children Hannah and Aspen, Donna and her children Maxlee and Masen Morphew, her sister Lou Arnold and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral mass will be on September 10, 2024, at 11:00 am at Catholic Church of the Epiphany in Port Orange with internment at a later date in Jacksonville National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations could be made to Epiphany Food Pantry, 201 Lafayette St., Port Orange, FL 32127
