Ruth Hensley

Ruth Magdaline Hensley, 84, of Ormond Beach passed away peacefully on June 28, 2013 in Florida Hospital, Ormond Beach. Ruth was born February 12, 1929 in Hardy, Kentucky the second of eleven children. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Ruth worked for G.C. Murphy’s for thirty years. She was a member of Flomich Baptist Church and was in the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her son, Terry Helvey and daughter-in-law, Sharon Helvey, of Ormond Beach, Fl.; two grandchildren: Christine Keeler and her husband, Jason; Kimberly Helvey and a great-granddaughter, Kaitlynn Keeler of Ormond Beach, Fl. Ruth is survived by sisters and brothers: Elan Hunt, Tassel, Wi; Gail Bower, Belfory, Ky; Jewel Scott, Richmond, Ky; Doris Wellimen, Belford, Ky; Eiath Young, Hardy, Ky; Mildred Stanley, Hardy, Ky; Ervin Stalol, Pound, Va and Hershel Stolling of Cincinatti, Oh.

A funeral service will be held 10:00AM Wednesday July 3, 2013 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach, FL 32174.
