Shanda G Henderson

Shanda Henderson age 74, passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2026. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose love for her family ran deep and unwavering.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Henderson, whom she now joins again.

Shanda is lovingly remembered by her children, Allen Henderson, Holly Chambers, and Hunter (Katherine) Henderson; her cherished grandchildren, Alexis Henderson, Caden Chambers, Ashlyn Dewlan, Simon Avery Henderson, Alyssa Henderson, and Luke Honeycutt; and her precious great-grandchildren, Layne Henderson and Saylor Dewlan. She is also survived by her siblings, Hal Garland, Pamela McKenzie, and Brad Garland, along with many nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family and friends who were touched by her life.

Shanda was strong-willed, feisty, and fiercely protective of those she loved. Her heart showed most clearly through her care for others—especially in her kitchen. Family gatherings were made special by Granny’s chicken and her homemade doughnuts, meals that carried comfort, joy, and togetherness.

She shared a deep bond with her beloved dog, Bonnie, and happily shared that love with everyone around her.

Now, Shanda rests in peace—walking along heavenly shores, toes in the sand, wrapped in warm breezes and gentle waves. May her memory continue to bring comfort, strength, and love to all who knew her.
