Stella M. Soto

Stella was born on November 16, 1936, in Bogota, Colombia, South America. She married and gave birth to two daughters before relocating to Puerto Rico. She studied accounting at the University of Puerto Rico and graduated magna cum laude. The family moved to Florida where Stella lived the remainder of her life in service to the Lord, her husband, and her church. She was a loving, humble, meticulous, industrious, and devoted Christian woman. She enjoyed reading the Bible and praying daily for her family.

Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Gabriel Munoz Uribe and Hortensia Alvarado de Munoz, her sister Myriam Forero, her brother Ricardo Munoz, and her husband Rev. Samuel Soto Espitia. Stella is survived by a sister Gabriela Zambrano, two daughters Amanda Clarke and Patricia Denham, two sons-in-law Douglas Clarke and Oscar B. Denham Jr., five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and their children.

Her legacy will carry on forever reminding us of God’s love and faithfulness, as well as encouraging us to have faith and hope in God.

Services will be held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home - Ormond Beach, 548 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach FL, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, with a viewing beginning at 11:00 am, and service at 12 pm. A graveside committal will take place at Volusia Memorial Park at 1:00 pm.
