Violet Miller, 89, passed away September 18, 2013. She was born March 10, 1924 in Walnut Creek, Ohio. She worked for many years as an LPN in Ohio. After she came to Florida she loved bringing her dogs to the local nursing homes. She also enjoyed crafts, gardening and flowers, watching the birds, and taking picnic lunches with her beloved family and friends. Violet was a member of Ormond Beach Riverside Church, Family Renew and local dog clubs.
Violet is survived by her sons Timothy Miller, Reynold (Kathleen) Miller and R. Anthony Miller, daughter Deborah (Wayne) Yutzy, 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ralph E. Miller and son Bryan.
A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday September 23 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, FL. Visitation will be from Monday from 12:00 until the time of service. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com.
