

William F “Bill” McNall, Jr., age 82, born August 17, 1930, passed away unexpectedly on November 2, 2012 at his home. A native of Silver Springs, Maryland, Bill served honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. Following the military, Bill was employed by the United States Postal Service for thirty-five years. An avid golfer, Bill had an ownership interest in golf courses in Ohio and Ormond Beach. After retiring from the Postal Service, Bill worked at ECU and the Rivera Country Club, as well as being involved in other activities and hobbies. Bill was loved and will be remembered for his desire to always lend a hand and for never meeting a stranger.
Bill is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Judy, son, William McNall (Pam),daughter, Pamela McNall Pontius (Brian), step-daughter, Sandra Fraser, step-son, Christopher Cover (Lori), grandchildren, Ashleigh Drexler (Brent), Adam Cio, Paris Cover, and Nicolas Cover and Great-grandchildren, Payton and Addisyn Drexler.
Sister, Gladys Holsinger, of Silver Springs, survives Bill, and he was predeceased by his parents, William F. Sr. and Nettie McNall, sisters, Viola Groudy and Theda Gonder, and Brothers, Acil and Atlee McNall.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at Riviera Country Club, 500 Calle Grande, Ormond Beach, Florida on Monday, November 5th, 2012, at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family request gifts in remembrance of Bill be made to victims of Hurricane Sandy through the Red Cross or other relief organizations.
