Passed away peacefully after a short illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, February 12th, 2014, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving mother of Gary Dickson (Carol), and Joan Birkett. Dear grandmother of Troy Dickson (Jennifer), Shelly Ball (Cameron) and Kimberly Birkett, great grandmother of Kerry-Anne, Bryan, Alexandra, Ashley, and great great grandmother of Mya and Jackson. Survived by her brother Stephen Svec and her sister Margaret Walker (Frank), and predeceased by her brother John Svec. A private funeral was held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234).
