Barbara Ann Clavette

Peacefully at Hillsdale Terraces, after a lengthy battle with ALS, on Thursday, February 6th, 2014 at 74 years of age. Beloved wife of Wilf Clavette for 51 years. Loving mother of Patrick Clavette, Kelly (Ian) Ross, Tracy (Kaziu) Bialecki, Sean (Wanda) Clavette, and her daughter at heart Dianne Harrison. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Stephanie (John), Stacey and Kristen Bialecki; Bryce and Jordan Clavette; Jade and Luke Ross; and Kourtney and Kyle Harrison. Dear daughter of the late Hilda Edwards. Dear sister of Armeda Mayo (predeceased), Betty Reade, Joan Moerth, Josie Ross, Linda Janeway, and Penny Lavigne (predeceased). She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, February 10th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH (194 Simcoe St. N., Oshawa) on Tuesday, February 11th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. At the family’s request, donations to ALS Research would be appreciated.
