It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barbara after a lengthy illness at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, April 9th, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Michael Anderson and the late Frank Lloyd. Much loved mother of Sandra Hanoski and her husband Bob. Proud and loving Gram to Rob (Bobby) and grandmother to Donna Lambert (Todd) and Wendy Sehl. Will be sadly missed by great grandchildren Trisha, Kara and Jack. Great great grandmother of baby Zander. Dear sister of Betty Hughes (George), Frank Frauts (Dorothy) and Donald Frauts. Predeceased by siblings Bruce Frauts, Ronald Frauts and Doreen Bobier. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially Wendy Allan (Gary) with whom she had many weekly chats. Also greatly missed by many neighbours and friends. My Mom’s quiet strength, unconditional love and support for family were an example to us all. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, April 12th from 7 – 9 P.M. and on Friday, April 13th from 1:30 P.M. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 2:30 P.M. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
