I just found about Betty's passing. I met Betty through her friend Reverend Pat K.  I will let Pat know. We spent some nice times at Betty's place. Pat had 3 of Betty's dogs.  Betty was an excellent all breed dog judge.

I was so sorry to hear of Betty's passing, the last few years have been very difficult on Betty and the family. My thoughts are with Bill and Shelley and Karen, along with the rest of the family and the many friends Betty had in the sport of Purebred dogs. 
Betty was always a pleasure to show a good dog to, she had wonderful hands on a dog, judged the dogs, and as a Dachshund breeder and a lady who loved the Toy breeds a favourite of mine.
Through the years Betty loved to judge them all, and  was able to judge some of the great dogs of all breeds throughout her long career. Rest in peace now Betty, you will be missed...

So sorry to learn of Betty's passing and my sincere condolences to Shelly and to the rest of the immediate and extended family and friends.

Betty was a great Dachshund breeder and a founding member of the Dachshund Club of Greater Ontario. I think of her contributions and miss her input very much.
My sympathy to her family, I think of her judging one of my Dachshunds in obedience one very hot summer day and we both held our breath if he would pass the inviting patch of shade on the heel free exercise. He did and we both laughed a lot
