Passed away peacefully with her family by her bedside on Friday, August 10th, 2012. Predeceased by her husband Michael. Beloved mother of Michael (Sharon), Thomas (Brenda), Charles (Karen), Trudy (Duro) and Anthony (Ivana). Loving grandmother of Laura (Scott), Michelle (Mark), David (Kendra), Stephen, Tara (Joe), Kristin, Sarah, Nicholas, Alexandra, Michael, Antonella, Thomas, Veronica and great grandmother of Devon, Meike, Hannah and Violet. Sadly missed by sister Mary Alfieri and numerous other family and friends. Many thanks to her wonderful caregivers at Extendicare, Oshawa for their attentiveness and tenderness. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, August 12th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 P.M. Funeral Mass with be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 570 Marion Ave. on Monday, August 13th at 10:00 A.M. Interment at Highland Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
