Passed away at his residence on Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 at the age of 64. Loving husband to Kim Smith for 31 years. Devoted father to Phillip Stanley (Grace), Jenna Stanley (Jason) and Darren Dancey (Danielle). Survived by his siblings Jack Dancey (Daria) and Janet Dancey - Roznik, sister-in-law Cathy Dancey and step-mother Carolyn. Predeceased by his parents Ronald and Betty, and siblings Terry and Ron Jr. Dear grandfather to Dustin, Hayden and Zachary. Forever remembered by nieces and nephews Ricky & April Roznik, and Michael & Robert Dancey. Sincerely missed by longtime devoted friend James Nolan. Special thanks to Dr. George Huculak and the Byron Street Medical Centre staff for all their care and compassion. Visitation to be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, June 5th from 7 – 9 p.m. The family will also be having a Celebration of life on June 29th from 1 - 5 at their house.
