Suddenly, following a brief illness, at Sunnybrook Medical Centre, Toronto on Monday, January 6th, 2014. Peacefully with her three men by her side, Dawn Jewel Spence (nee Hilliard) in her 58th year. Beloved daughter of Joan and the late Casey Hilliard. Dear wife of Terry. Loving mother of Derek (Dayna) and Richard (Ange). Loving grandmother of Taylor. Dear sister of George (Sue) Hilliard and Aunt of Ashley and Caitlin. Fondly remembered by her brothers-in-law Wayne, Dean (Susan) and Jeff (Colleen), her many nieces and nephews, and her friend for over 50 years, Evelyn (Dave). Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, January 10th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 11th at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
