

It is with great sadness we announce that Donald Ward Harry Agnew who peacefully passed away on February 13, 2025, in Oshawa, Ontario, at the age of 42, will be deeply missed by his partner, Valerie, with whom he shared five wonderful years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Teresamarie aka "Mother Teresa", and was predeceased by his father, Donald Agnew and brother Shon Hart.
Donnie will be sadly missed by his siblings: Brad/Dijana, Shon/Tammy , Neil /Arren, Jodie /Donnie, Brian /Michelle, Terra /Sean), and Cody/ Saphney and cherished by his many foster siblings.
He leaves behind his beloved children: Emmalea, Blake, Brayden and step-children Karen, Kerri, and Cyle, as well as his adored grandchildren: Ella,Yveson and Naya. Donnie will be greatly missed by all his Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews who held him with deep affection.
Donald was predeceased by Bruce Blakey, Eleonor Ella Blakey, and Papa Donald Agnew.
Donnie was lovingly referred to as "Fat Man" by those who loved him most. He was known for his kind heart and social nature, Donald had a remarkable ability to make others feel valued and important. His generosity was truly boundless, and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand, often going out of his way to brighten someone’s day. From the time Donnie was a little boy he had a love of treasure hunting and wasn't afraid to get dirty to bring those treasures home, he often referred to himself as "Dumpster Donnie". Donnie's passion for motorcycles and dirt bikes was another defining aspect of his life. He found joy in both the mechanics and the thrill of riding. Whether he was fixing up an old bike to give it new life or taking it out for a ride, he was in his element.
Donald was also devoted to his beloved dog Leo who was his best friend until the end.
He will be fondly remembered for his generosity and his ability to brighten the lives of those around him.
A visitation for Donald will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, ON L1J 2L4, followed by a memorial service in the chapel from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. Burial will occur at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON following the chapel service.
