I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to my Mom and Dad (Susan & Todd), my brother Jake, our amazing friend Cheryl and my cousin Cara for helping Gramma spend her twilight years in the peace and comfort of her own home, as she dearly wished. It was always hard to be so far from her in Alberta, but knowing that she was well looked after by such giving, loving and selfless people made it easier to bear. Caring for a loved one through late-stage Alzheimer's is often so difficult, taking its toll physically, mentally and emotionally, yet none of you hesitated to step up and support Gramma throughout, even when it was particularly hard. I am immensely proud to have each of you in my life and words cannot express how much I appreciate all of your efforts and sacrifices. I know it meant the world to Gramma to be so surrounded by your love as she made her journey from this world to the next.

Gramma was among my most cherished people and I feel truly blessed by how many good memories we made together. From sun filled days at the beach to digging around in the garden to devouring BBC period dramas to painting her dining room that raspberry pink to checking out cute boys at the Pow Wows to staying up too late on Christmas eve gossiping, she touched every part of my life. Over late night chats and tea, I learned so many profound things from her about living life fully, loving deeply and honestly, finding the good and growth in struggle, and looking out for those around me. She was my grandmother, my teacher and a very dear friend. I will miss her absence keenly, but take great comfort in knowing that I carry her with me always, for so much of who I am was shaped by her love and guidance. Rest in peace and  light Gramma, and thank you for everything.

So sorry to hear about Donnna's passing. 
Jack and I spent time together with Donna and Dave the 50's and 60's. We sometimes got babysitters and headed down to the Jub for some good dancing. They were very good dancers. Sometimes Reg and Norma would join us too. I remember one time we went skating up Harmony road somewhere and came back to their house to warm up and have hot chocolate.  I know that Jack and Donna spent a lot of summers with the family at Cobourg beach. We took our family there too in later years,  Good Memories.

So many memories of my time years ago with Donna and Dave. Jack was the same age as Donna. We sometimes went to dances down at the lake with Norma and Reg. Over the years we all rather went in different directions and only seeing each other at funerals. 
My children keep in touch and have been doing a great job working on the family tree. 
My condolences to all the family.

Dear Gregg and Todd,
So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I will always remember the special times your mother and I spent together.

To All My Cousins and other extended family  members.
My most sincere and heartfelt condolences.
I truly have so many memories of Aunty Donna...from childhood of course but also, as an adult,  on some surprise drop ins when I was in Oshawa! Like all good Jackson Women she loved to give out genuine hugs and smooches to us "youngsters."
Oh ya...during those later years, we would have a coffee or 2 (a smoke or 2) and a long chat.
So fun and memorable.
