Passed away peacefully at home in Oshawa on Friday, November 15th, 2013 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Wanda for 45 years. Mourned and survived by sister, Margaret MacKenzie; uncle, Percy MacKenzie; and aunts, Eleanor, Greta and Irene. He will be sadly missed and remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, November 20th from 7 – 9 p.m. Interment will be at the Boulardrire Cemetery in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia (late spring 2014). Memorial donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Foundation, Cancer Care or Palliative Care.
