Egbert John Dolstra

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Egbert John Dolstra at the age of 69. Loving and devoted husband of Pat for 48 and 1/2 years. Loving father of Joshua and Elicia, and grandfather of Preston and Jasmin. Survived by his siblings Brant (Maryann), Dina (Siebolt), Tina (Steve), John (Bev), and loved by many nieces and nephews. Egbert worked at General Motors for 33 years retiring at the age of 53. He loved fishing and was always happy out on the water in his boat with his friends fishing or on the ice fishing. He was a great neighbour, always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all knew him.

Visitation will be at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. W. Oshawa on Wednesday August 16th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at King Street Community Church, 611 King St. W. Oshawa on Thursday August 17th at 1pm.

Interment Thornton Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
