Passed away peacefully, on Monday, April 7th, 2014 at Lakeridge Health Whitby. Loving wife of the late Fred Hurren. Cherished mother of Vivian (deceased), Lynda Dyck (Jack), Dr. Larry (Kay), Sandra Gunn (David), Ronald (Rose), Ted (Carmen) and Shelley DeMan (Mike). Adored Grandma of Steven Dyck (Liliane), Terrence Dyck, Matthew Hurren, Jillian Churly (Jason), Rebecca McDougall (Michael), Jeffrey Gunn (Saowakhon), Julie Rozsas (Frank), Emily, Brian and Kevin Hurren, Devon and Rachelle DeMan. Great Grandmother of Zaccary, Lucca and Calyssa Dyck, Benjamin and James Churly, Logan, Blake and Hailey Rozsas and Grey McDougall. Predeceased by parents, Zella and Clare Leighton. Survived by sister, Elizabeth Keeler (Ivan). Predeceased by brother Ralph Leighton. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, April 11th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 12th at 11:00 a.m. Interment Cedar Vale Cemetery, Cannington. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
