Peacefully at The Village of Taunton Mills on Tuesday, May 14th, 2013, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Doug Simpson. Loving mother of Linda (Mike), John (Sharon), Rick (Mary) and the late Dianne (Don). Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and her extended family and friends. Cherished sister of the late Mary Russell. A special thanks to the staff at The Village of Taunton Mills for their excellent care. Graveside Memorial Service will take place at THORNTON CEMETERY (1200 Thornton Rd. N., Oshawa) on Saturday, May 25th at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Durham Region Cancer Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
