With his family by his side, after a lengthy illness, on Easter Sunday, March 31st, 2013 at 57 years of age. Loving husband of Paula (nee Volt) and loving father of Nicole. Predeceased by his parents Antonio and Nicoletta Scaffidi, and mother-in-law Dorothy Volt. He will be fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Heather and Terry Talbot, Avrom (Jake) and Karin Volt, his brother Angelo (Lucy), his sister Nuccia (Tony) Raffa , his many nieces, nephews and great nephews. He will be missed by his extended family, friends and his dog Bella. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, April 2nd from 3 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 3rd at 1:00 p.m. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Cancer Centre at Lakeridge Health Oshawa would be appreciated.
