I remember Gary Gales from public school and on into into high school in Oshawa .There was a high school assembly one day where Gary was on stage with some of the teachers doing a musical of some kind. There was a very brief pause and the music continued - apparently Gary switched to a tune out of order and the teachers had to quickly also change - remember Mr. Nash the auto shop teacher telling us that. Gary was a likeable guy capable in many things. Sad that he died relatively young.  Jim Hoover 

Very sad to hear of Uncle Gary's passing today.  I extend my heartfelt condolences to Glen, Darrin, Julie, my Mother Gwen Dingman, Uncle Wally, and their families.

I have many fond memories of time spent with Uncle Gary as I grew up, which I shall always cherish.

I will always remember Gary as the Piano Man! We used to sing to his piano playing at our Jaycee meetings and conventions and always had a great time. He was a good friend and will be missed by all of his fellow Jaycee members. Our heartfelt sympathies to all of his family and friends.

Not only did I have the pleasure of knowing Gary personally but i also had the honor of working with him side by side as his Dental Assistant while he worked at our office. He was a gentle man with a great sense of humor.

It is with great sadness that I hear of JCI Senator Gary Gales passing. We had many memorable moments boating up to Georgian Bay and through the Trent Cannel System, as well as the cottage in Bolsover. He was my dentist for many years and a great Jaycee friend. My sincere condolences go out to his family.

My condolences to Dr. Gales family.  He was my dentist for many years and I will always remember him as being kind and compassionate. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing.
