Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, January 3rd, 2016 at the age of 53. Loving father of James (Erin). Dear brother of Larry Reid (Debbie), Bonnie Wilson (Frank deceased), Russel Reid (Darlene), Patsy Reid (Al), Marion Carol (Greg), Judy Sleeper (Marvin), Dwayne Reid (Irene), Penny Bachynski (Bob), Brian Reid (Cathi). A special thank you to Connie Minnie for her many years of dedicated help to Gary. He will be remembered by all of his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, Cynthia Plowright and his friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, January 9th from 11 – 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
