George Fada Chibani

CHIBANI, George Fada Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Lakeridge Health – Ajax Pickering Hospital on Tuesday, September 27th, 2022, in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mariette of 50 great years. Loving father of Rita Seif (Joseph), Mona Krolak (Robert), Eva Chatfield (Brant), Najwa Chibani, Alain Chibani, Pierre Chibani. Cherished “Jido” of Antoun, Andrew, Adam, Alissa, Alexandra, Katherine, Elizabeth, James, William, Mariette and George. Predeceased by his siblings. Lovingly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Loving cared for by his niece Aida. George was a dedicated family man who had a personality larger than life. He was loved and respected by all who knew him, and never failed to make you laugh, lend a helping hand or open his heart and home to all. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at HOLY FAMILY CATHOLIC CHURCH, (91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby) on Monday, October 3rd at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Donations may be made at Lakeridge Health Foundation if desired.
