MCKAY, George Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, June 18th, 2018. Beloved husband of Joyce McKay. Loving father of Marianne and Bill Rich, Kathryn Watson, Carol and Carl Dillman, William and Shelley McKay, John and Meredith McKay, Angela McKay and Francis Lichman-Trudel. Cherished grandfather of Ashley and Allan McNeill, David and Laura Watson, Jeffrey Rich, Lindsay Rich, and Christopher Rich, Shannon Dillman and her partner William Duncan, the twins Brandon Dillman and Matthew Dillman, Ryan McKay and Dana Carey, Dylan McKay, Aaron McKay and Kennan Gregory, Michael and Tena McKay, Alexandria McKay and Kevin McClean, Kathryn McKay, and Bailey McKay. Great grandfather to Maya McNeill and future great grandson Phoenix George Duncan. Sadly missed by his siblings Geraldine May, Betty Dixon, Shirley Robinson, Margaret Kelly, the late Donald McKay, the late Joan McLeod, and in-laws June Bateman, Ruth Eaton, Jack Robinson, Allan Robinson, Lloyd Robinson and Marian Pedrizetti. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, June 23rd from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
