Passed away peacefully on Sunday September 18th, 2011in her 83rd year, surrounded by her loving children, at South Lake Regional Health Centre. Her passing leaves a hole in the lives of her children, grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, extended family and friends. The celebration of her life will commence with visitation at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, September 22nd, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. On Friday, September 23rd, visitation will be held at The Embassy of the Kingdom of God, 416 Taunton Rd. West, Oshawa (905-433-2964) commencing at 10 a.m., followed by Funeral Services at 11 a.m. and refreshments and fellowship in the church foyer; Interment at Stirling Cemetery to follow. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the amazing staff of the 5th floor Cardiac Care Unit at South Lake Regional Health Centre for all of their care, compassion and support.
