Jeffrey Lee Badgley

With great sadness Lee’s family announces he passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, July 13th, 2011, at the age of 65. Beloved and devoted husband and best friend of Wendy. Devoted and loving Grandpa of Brayden and Austin. Loving brother of Ian, Kurt (Ruth), Kerry (Sue) and Aaron (Andrea). Lee will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Donna (Rick) Kahrs, his brother-in-law Patrick (Carol), nieces and nephews Danielle, Martine, Tyler, Megan, Tyler, Cassandra, Brandon, Emily, Linda, Sarah (predeceased), Paul and Shannon, and his uncles and aunts. Predeceased by his biggest support Gram. Lee was a proud and dedicated member of AA for 31 years, and will be very sadly missed by his good friend and sponsor Dave B. One of Lee’s last wishes was to convey his thanks to the groups and members of his AA family for giving him 31 years of sobriety. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Saturday, July 16th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Sunday, July 17th at 3:00 p.m. Cremation. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
