Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, September 20th, 2011 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Brenda for 55 years. Loving father of Jennifer and Cindy. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Janine, Lacey, Tyler, Samantha and Brittannie. John will be sadly missed by his son-in-law Ed, and by his brother-in-law Brian Tassell (Gwen) and families. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, September 25th from 2 – 4 p.m. Cremation. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
