It's hard trying to find the words to describe what a wonderful man and human being Larry really was!! Not only was he a great athlete whether it be Baseball, Basketball, or golf especially when he was with his sons Jake ,Ben, and his other half Jane!! He was friendly, kind, and generous to a fault!! He will truly be loved and missed by family an friends far and wide!!  R.I.P BIG Guy!!

I was very saddened to hear we lost Larry. He had a giant personality with a giant heart. He always took the time to talk to people, listen and with a smile and sometimes with his quirky laugh. It was a pleasure to know and work with Larry at CIBC. We had we had some fun times, especially during the nightshift... He will be missed. My deepest condolences.

My sincere condolences to his brother Roger, Jane, the boys and the rest of the family. Larry and I went to the same high school. Played football and basketball together. Larry my friend, you were larger than life and your soul was even larger.

Wow!!! What a loss. Played football with Larry in high school. He always had a smile on his face (unless he was punishing the opponent on the football field). He was a guy everyone loved to be around. He was a big man with a bigger heart. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Big Lare was as great as they get. My condolences to Jane (Bingo) Jake and Ben. When we were 14 we played hockey together and Via trained it to Nova Scotia where Larry managed to score 5 goals in 1 game.  Many a golf game were had with a lot of laughs at Daniel Patrick's bar after. Larry was a great fastball player and loved his sports but the way he treated people he was incomparable he was a legend in life.

Our sincere condolences to Jane and the Posacki family. Larry was a wonderful man and he always treated you as if you were his best friend. His stories were legendary and he had a lot of them. My uncle Russ introduced me to Larry at a golf tournament at King's Bay, His description of Larry's golf game was right on. He could hit it a mile but didn't always know in what direction. On the first hole we played, 3 of us hit the middle of the fairway and now it was Larry's turn. The hole had houses all the way down the left side. Well with a mighty lash the ball took off down the left hand side about 20 houses down and right into someone's BBQ on the second deck.  I said great shot for baseball, not so good for golf. Larry said to Russ I like this guy. As we made our way to the spot where his ball was Larry asked me if anyone was on the deck. I said just the owner, Larry asked me if it would be a good time to ask the guy if he had any hotdogs on. We laughed about that story every time we got together. RIP my dear friend Jim Sypher, Russ Sypher and family.

Spent some wonderful times with Larry at Patrick’s after golf.  His kindness and amazing qualities show in his two boys Jake and Ben!  Although he’s gone,  I will never forget the special memories!

What a great guy!  He was co-founder of the Harley Beerfest.  Just an excuse to get together and have fun.  Many great memories of time spent with the big guy.  A piece of the puzzle we call life is missing, but will always be remembered.

A huge man with a huge heart. Memories that always bring a smile and chuckle. Will miss you Sak.

Larry and Roger were from the same "hood" as me and we went to high school together. Larry and I were on the same basket ball team and Larry was an incredible player back then and it does not surprise me that he continued to be a strong athlete and good person. He had an incredible shot that did not have any arc, just flat but always went in! He was the team.

I had the pleasure to work with Larry at CIBC SCC/MCC.  He was a wonderful man,  humble and kind. He will truly be missed by all his colleagues, friends and especially his family. May Larry's soul always rest in peace.

I have had an opportunity to work with Larry at CIBC. He was always very helpful and kind towards all he interacted with him.
He was a good team leader and helped many of his team mates to advance in their skillsets. He will be missed.

I am deeply shocked to learn the passing away of Mr. Posacki (that's how i used to address him despite his opposition) as I had lost touch with him. He has played a very important role in my career after arriving in Canada in late 1980s. He was the person who got me a job in CIBC after I  failed to get any for 2 years. He was the best Manager I ever had in my career of over 25 years. He was a people's person and most of the staff in his shift was very happy, myself included. As I was the senior person in his shift at MCC, he had developed full confidence and would give me a free hand in solving the problems there...which were many at that time. I feel that I have personally lost a family member today as all the memories have come back to me with the news. My family joins me to convey our condolencesto his family.

I still remember the first time I played softball with Larry and folks telling me to go all the way to the fence in center field, I soon learned why as I watched the ball he just hit sail over my head.  A big man with a gentle soul and even bigger heart.  Thank you, my big friend for you were a great mentor through CIBC to HP and will be missed by many.  My sincere condolences to your family and friends.

Words may not suffice to express the heartfelt sorrow that I feel for the passing of Larry,  but please accept my condolences and I will be sure to include him in my daily prayers.
