It is with very heavy hearts, the family of Lauren Wright announce her passing far too soon, at the age of 18 on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014. Loving daughter of Lisa Wright and Greg Wright (Elisa). Cherished sister of Josh and Catherine, and step-sister of Sam. Life long friend and partner of Alex. Adored granddaughter of Paul (late Catherine) Wright and Edward (late Teresa) Drumm. Lauren will also be dearly missed by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and her many friends and teammates. Lauren attended the University of Waterloo, studying accounting, of which her family was very proud. She was gifted academically, attributed to many amazing teachers, and excelled in both hockey and baseball. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, June 1st from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. A Celebration of Lauren’s life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, June 2nd at 11:00 a.m.
