Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, October 13th, 2015 at Centennial Place at the age of 69. Loving husband of Gail Sweet (nee MacKay) for 49 years. Adored Dad of Wendy Ellen (Gary Hasenhindl) and the late Scott and Gregory. Beloved Papa of Quin. Loving brother of Norma, Sandra and Bev (Gord Gierman). Lawrence was a brother-in-law of Sherry MacKay. Cherished uncle of Tom, Leslie, Laura and Brenda. He will be dearly missed by many extended family and friends. Memorial visitation will take place at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, October 16th from 11:00 a.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 12:00 noon. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted for the SickKids Foundation.
