We are heartbroken at my sister Lyn’s passing. She had such a passion and love for life. Her family, Faith and friends were the most important treasures in her life. Lyn was more than my sister, she was my friend. We spent countless hours together each day growing up. We shared so much of our lives on our family visits from California to Toronto, trying on her outfits( she had a lot!! ), giving each other makeovers and staying up late into the night chatting. Even in sad times, she could brighten the darkest days. I will always remember her caring, positive, uplifting attitude right to the very end. Your  sweet memory will live on in my heart forever. Sleep well my little butterfly, and may the Angels hold you in the palm of their hands...

I just spoke with Ray, who told me the terribly sad news that your beloved Lynn was called home to heaven recently, and gave me the link for the service tomorrow, which I will be watching.

I clearly remember many years ago now, when yourself and Lynn came home to Dublin visiting Molly and Harry, you both would always call into 33 to visit with Mam, and she truly appreciated those visits. Mam held both yourself and Lynn in very high regard and always said Lynn Mangan was a gorgeous lady.

We were  so saddened to hear about Lynette's passing this week.   The  kids were  remarking  about all of the times they spent at your place just up the street. Lynette  made them feel so welcome and was always  quick to offer up the treats. They felt so at home  that they never wanted to leave! 
 And of course the soccer games....when Bill  coached Siobhan and Kirsten for all of those years. I can hear Lynnette shouting from the sidelines- Go Chevy Go! Those were good times for sure. Lots of lovely memories of a truly lovely, kind and warm person.

As you know, Lyn and I had developed a strong relationship on WhatsApp over the last few years and shared many stories on family, kids, grandkids, sports, politics and religion. She was especially interested in Medugorje, Lourdes and Fatima, where I had been and in Knock where she had been, the Daily TV Mass from Toronto, and the Legion of Mary which she supported and loved. We shared a common deep interest in the Blessed Virgin Mary. 

And so we rest peacefully in understanding that she is now with Our Lady whom she loved so much. 

May she rest in Christ’s peace.

Lynette and my father were first cousins. We lost touch after my fathers’ passing but he always had a special place in his heart for her. The family were always kind to my parents when I was born and Lynette shared some of those memories with me. It’s sad to lose someone who has know you your whole life. Memories of a beautiful woman-----Lynn Mangan.                 About 42 years ago Eddie and Lynn stopped over in U.K before travelling to Ireland, Richard was abroad so it was just our baby son David and I, on seeing Lynn for first time i thought Eddie had married a beautiful teenager, Lynn looked so very young. We had a lovely time getting to know her, so gentle and calm. I smiled thinking of her meeting a houseful of boisterous brother-in-laws, they as my parents fell in love with Lynn. Over the years we didnt meet often as we were expats for many years, but we did keep in touch with letters and photos. My parents kept us up to date on the  great holidays they had in Ontario. I managed to go there once , met nieces and nephew and had a fantastic time. Its sad to think Lynn is no longer with us, but then gone to a better place, God speed Lynn, we will all meet again one day , until thenxxxxx. Frances and Richard-----R.I.P.

My sincerest condolences for your great and tragic loss,
To say that Lynn was a wonderful person would be an understatement. I first met Lynn when I travelled over to Toronto in 1974 for her wedding with Eddie. 
Eddie was along-time friend of mine since we were teenagers back home in  Dublin.
She welcomed me with open arms during that time in 1974 and subsequently when she graciously agreed to allow me to stay with them when I left Ireland to reside in Toronto in 1990.
I have never forgot  (and never will) the generosity of spirit both Lynn (Lynette) and Eddie extended to my family and I over the subsequent years.

My sons and I are truly sorry to hear about the sudden passing away of your wife, Lynette, who is my sister. 
We had so many happy and precious times growing up!
You are aware when you joined the family  that my parents had seven children, five girls and two boys.They referred to us, as The Magnificent Seven. Lynette would be Magnificent No 5! She had three sisters and one brother ahead of her!
After many years, Lynette met an Irish chap, Eddie, who had a very strong Irish   Accent and a magnificent  sense of humor. Then they eventually got married! 
I must say it did not take long for your wife to learn the Irish Culture and Slangs.
Eddie, after joining the family, you always had us laughing with your jokes, dancing and imitating the way we speak,
Lynette enjoyed cooking and entertaining us when we visited you and your family. 
I just want to Thank you for keeping us informed of the upcoming Funeral Service. Also, our thoughts and Prayers are with you and the family,, Sonya, Sean, and Siobhan, during this difficult  and sad time.
Keep the Faith  and Trust in the Lord, that your wife’ kept reminding me whenever I called her..That will  definitely please her tremendously as she enjoys her eternal life in Heaven.  God’s Blessings.
