Marcel Jean Gagnon

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, November 8th, 2014. Beloved husband of Marie for 24 years. Loving father of Chantal and Bradley. Survived by his mother Cecilia and predeceased by his father Jean-Baptiste. Dear brother of Alain (Shelley), Louise (Michael), Jacques, Lorraine (Paul) and Robert (Teresa). Brother-in-law of Sharon (Terry) and Phil (Christie). Marcel will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Family always came first for Marcel and we will always cherish his ready smile and endless support. He enjoyed many years of service with the Knights of Columbus and was a respected Past Grand Knight among his brothers. He was a talented woodworker, donating many of his projects to his Parish charities for fundraising. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, November 13th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at ST. THERESE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (3800 Courtice Rd. N., Courtice) on Friday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to St. Therese Roman Catholic Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
