I was sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. She was always full of energy and love. I remember times that I spent at your home looking after you. It was wonderful that Sonia and Natasha were able to look after my girls at times. Your mother taught you well! Your mom always lit up the room with her smile! My condolences to the entire family.

I just heard of Martha's passing on March 8th. , and recognize the sadness you must feel.  Chris and I were pleased to watch you all grow up, and become the strong adults that you are.  The many "get together" times on Switzer Drive with Martha, you children, and her Parents are part of our heritage.  I am saddened by her passing, but recognize that she has left you all with strong family values.  My hope is that you find strength in the many memories of your Mother.  
My prayers go out to the family in this difficult time.

Dear Sonia, Natasha, and Andrew, and Family,
Please accept our deepest condolences for this shocking news of your mother's passing. As you probably know, your mother and I grew up together. For the first four or five years of my life, we lived in the same crowded house on Herbert Street in the Beaches with parents and grandparents, who had sought safe-haven in Canada after having experienced the horrors of World War II . Your mother was a lively, vibrant, extroverted, and very smart girl who skipped two grades in public school . I remember summer holidays spent together at Lake Simcoe and Georgian Bay, where we went horse-back riding and did a lot of reading on rainy days -- our shared passion. She loved being a mother and grandmother. Above all, she was good, gentle, caring person. She will be missed. My husband, Yaroslaw Zajac, and daughters Natalia and Larissa, are also deeply saddened by this loss. Martha touched us all.

To Martha's family: 
Martha and I have been friends since our days at Williamson Road Public School. We became closer when we were part of a special class in Malvern Collegiate for Gr 9-12. We also shared the same birthday in October. And our friendship endured all the years of growing families and work, although we didn't see a lot of each other.  Then after we retired we had the time to reconnect in person. We had many phone calls and visits together and with our friend Maureen. It was a lovely period of time and we both enjoyed it.  I shall miss her phone calls and visits, her lovely smile and laughter, and the loving friendship we shared.
My sincere condolences to all her family. She loved you all very much  and every conversation we had involved catching up with what you were all doing. She was so proud of all of your accomplishments and so happy to be part of your lives.
