Passed away peacefully at home December 7th, 2014 at the age of 26. Gentle, precious son of Laurie Lawson. Loving brother of Scott (Cheryl) and Stephanie (Adam). Michael was much loved by his son Levi and will be missed by Levi’s mother Sierra. Michael will be dearly missed by his grandma Joan Bird, (He was dearly loved by his late Papa James Bird), Uncle Jamie (Lydia), Aunt Susan and Aunt Jacquie (Robert), cousins Jamie, Megan, Garrett, Brieanna and Olivia. Michael will be fondly remembered for his gentle soul, his fantastic sense of humour and his love for music. He was an amazing drummer. He will be missed by all who were touched by him. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West on Friday, December 12th from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH (690 King Street East) on Saturday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. Donations would be gratefully accepted for the Arthritis Society.
