Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 30th, 2016 surround by her loving family at the age of 105. Predeceased by her loving husband Robert in 2010. Loving mother of Brian (Kathy) and adored grandma of Jayson (Jennifer). Great-grandmother of Theodore and Alexandra. She is predeceased by her parents. Mildred will be dearly missed by her sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and many extended family. She will be fondly remembered as an avid bridge player. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, August 3rd from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Northminster United Church (676 Simcoe St. N., Oshawa) on Thursday, August 4th at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mount Lawn Cemetery. As per Mildred’s wishes, donations will be gratefully accepted for Northminster United Church.
