On November 22nd at Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital, surrounded by family, Noëlla Nativa Smith at the age of 81 passed on to be reunited with her late husband William Smith. As we mourn the absent warmth in our household, we remember the memories and laughter of happy years together. A loving mother to Steven Smith and Carol-Ann Jones and her husband Ron, grandmama to Laura, Lisa and Natalie Jones and Denver Smith and his mother Janet Smith and Megan King. Cherished sister of Mirielle Desbiens and sister-in-law to Bernice Hulbert. Although sudden, Noëlla has entered heaven’s gates with open arms and her memory will live forever in our hearts. Ma chère grandmère, je t’aime. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Tuesday, November 25th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOSEPH THE WORKER PARISH (1100 Mary Street, Oshawa) on Wednesday, November 26th at 10:00 a.m.. There will be a small reception held after in the church hall. Memorial donations to SickKids Foundation would be appreciated.
