Words cannot even begin to express the emotions i have experienced over the last week since hearing "Peter has passed". Andrew, you and I were suppose to grow old together in this lifetime continuing to love, support and take care of one another every step of the way - I could never imagine you would not be here.

You were always here for me whenever I needed or would ask anyway. I was more hesitant on the heartfelt topics as I know you were ready to hurt anyone who hurt your little sister. But I did ask for help at the house. No matter how big or small, you were there to help. You also became my partner and cheerleader on my new wood projects, and always told me how proud you were of me, buying me new tools on the way. I looked up to you and admired how skilled you were at so many things I wasn't and I hope you know that. 

I saw the way you looked at and cared for Arianna. She was like the daughter you never had. You were so sweet with her just holding and loving her as a baby, buying her fun and exciting gifts and getting excited like a kid yourself, getting her the first pet fish (without my permission), winning her the biggest pink dinosaur at the fair, teaching her things like how to ride a four wheeler and use a hammer, and just being playful with her and her never ending energy. My heart is so heavy when I think about the love between you too, and the future of Arianna that you will miss. She loves you so much Uncle Peter. 

It is so hard to accept that you will not be here with us physically, only in memory and spirit. I have been as strong as I can for the family, and will continue to take care of them the best I can as we grieve for you in all our own various ways.  

I love you my brother, you will always be in my heart. I know you will continue to watch over us from above and I will visit you and share the details along the rest of my journey at your grave.  Rest in peace Peter.

Peter was not just a great friend, he was like a brother to me. We grew up together and there are so many memories. From our adventures down at the creek, to playing kick the bucket and Erie park shenanigans. While our parent's hung out Peter, Andrew, Tiffany and I always where up to no good lol....Peter continued to be there for me even as adults. I would call him in a frantic because something broke in my house and he would come and fix it right away...Everything in my home reminds me of him...Peter was my personal handy man  lol and let me tell you, he wouldn't leave until his work was perfect....I am so so saddened for the loss of my strong, kind, huge hearted friend....Rest in peace my brother 

Peter and I met about 25 years ago, my kids and I nicknamed him Peter Pottymouth instantly, he had no filter with his mouth or with his heart. Peter was extremely proud of his family, he loved everyone close to him very much. He had a humongous personality and could make anybody feel special. Peter set high expectations for himself and tried his best to achieve everyone of them. I am very proud to call Peter my bestfriend, him and I shared many memories, birthdays, stories, problems, heartaches, wishes, dreams, and goals. You were deeply loved by anyone that got the chance to get to know the real you, and you will forever be missed.

My friend, we will miss you and all the wonderful laughs. My deepest sympathies to your family, I will keep you all in my prayers as you navigate through this difficult time. May we all hold onto our memories of you, and cherish them until we meet again.  Love you Pete. 

Peter,  several days have passed, memories keep flooding back to me…you were like a third son to me and Jim, my husbands best friend.  Always considered part of our family, I remember all the times coming home and there you were with Jim having a cold one, many wonderful times we shared together.  You seemed to be always there when I needed you.  So many memories to remember.  Jamie and I planted a beautiful crimson red tea rose in the garden the other day in your memory, I call it Peters rose.   Always in my heart and mind never forgotten .

Peter is unforgettable. I'll always remember the first time we met him. We had recently moved in across the street from his parents. Willie and Nick were on the sunroom roof trying to fix something. Next thing we new there he was on the roof introducing himself and offering help.  He kept an eye on the neighbourhood and was the first to offer to fix our fence when it blew over. He did a great job quickly and for a fair price.  My favorite memories though are sitting having a few beer on his parents back patio now and again. He will be missed and I'm so sad for the whole family. Take care of each other guys and don't hesitate to ask for anything. Love Diane William Dan and Nicky.

This truly breaks my heart, I just bumped in to him a few weeks ago. We were laughing and talking about old memories with of Jay. Sending my deepest condolences to the entire family! He will be missed xo

I’m so sorry to hear of Peter’s passing. I always loved catching up and having some laughs with him at the Watson family events.

Peter was the kindest person we know.  He was always happy, vibrant and raring to go.  He loved Bart like a second father and was very protective of him.  Always ready to work with Bart, he really was bright and confident and took the job seriously and was excellent at it.  There are no words to describe the feeling of loss to both of us, He was special to both of us. Rest in peace , we will miss your vibrant personality.  Love you bud💖💖

My deepest condolences to the Vandevelde family.  Our children grew up together we had a great relationship with Peter.   I will truly miss him as we all will.

Kathy, Ken and family,I was deeply saddened to read of Peters passing.  I always enjoyed talking with him, he always had a joke and worked hard with and for his Grandfather. He will be missed  but you will remember all the good times and memories you have of him. My love to you all and will contact you when I am back in Ontario. 

We are so saddened to hear of Peters passing. So many great memories meeting him last summer and Andrew and Him reconnecting through long talks and laughs around the campfire.
