Passed away at Lakeridge Health – Bowmanville on Friday, July 29th, 2016 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Joan for 66 years. Loving dad to Sharon (Darryl), Rick (Donna), Jim (Mary) and Lisa (Dominic). Predeceased by his brothers Henry, Ray, Stan and by his sister Reta. Loved and proud Grandpa to Cody, Siobhan, Taylor, Sam, Tess, Jordan and Madison. Thanks to the 2nd floor staff at Lakeridge Health – Bowmanville for their care and support. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, August 4th, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, August 5th, at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
