Passed away peacefully with family at his side after a courageous battle with cancer at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Betty. Predeceased by his loving wife Pauline (1981). Loving father of Sharon (Phillip Bell), Gordon (Judy), Lynda (Luis Viana), Marlie (Richard Boville), Marilyn (Gilbert Dickinson), and Michael Bryant (Linda). Lovingly remembered by his 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his buddy Paul Dale. Faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, January 7th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, January 8th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Ebenezer Cemetery. Memorial donations to the R. S. McLaughlin Cancer Centre or SickKids Foundation would be appreciated.
