Passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, September 29th, 2011, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Grant Elford for 61 years. Loving mother of Laurie Cullor (Dick), Patti Elford (Weldon), Debbie Tahirali (Chuck) and Marjorie Elford. Sister-in-law to Donna Remeika (Victor) and Laraine Bennett (Dennis). Grandmother of Christopher, Kathryn, Jesse, Emma, Beth, Sarah and Ashley. Sadly missed by family Ron Sawyer (Judy), Tom Sawyer (Sharon), Dillon Sawyer (Rose), Jean Dingley (Bert), Sylvia Diggins (Bill), Linda Sawyer, Verna Gravelle (Jerry) and predeceased by Yvette, William, Orel and Nora. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, September 30th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Prayers at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GREGORY THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH (194 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa) on Saturday, October 1st at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery.
