Suddenly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Earl. Dear mother of Ted and his wife Mary Anne and the late Peter. Loving Gramma of David, Chris and his wife Candice. Great Gramma of Ayla, Jake, Kyah, Blake and Olivia. Sister of Barb and Stan Norrish, the late Alex Diamond (Sylvia), Beth Grills (Stan) and Frank Diamond (Evelyn & Maura). Sister-in-law of Ruth McMillan (Mert), June Stacey (Ernie) and Ruth Starzynski (Joe Follest). Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, (905-721-1234) on Sunday, August 9th, from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, August 10th, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
