Dear Judy John and John
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom and wife. 
Shirley was such an inspiration to all who met her.
I had been looking for her in the past few days and wondered where she was! Her spirit didn't want to leave.
My condolences to you all.
May her light shine on in all of you.
I didn't see the notice until I arrived back from the north. My aunt had died the same day as Shirley and her service was the same day.
She truly suffered but not as much as Shirley.

Although we only knew her for a few short years, I remember a mom cheering her son on at hockey and baseball games.She truly loved her children, John Allen, and Judy.I hope the good memories you have will help you through the coming weeks. Thinking of you all now. Rest in peace Shirley xx

Shirley was an amazing loving free spirited women who touched the hearts of  everyone who met her.Shirley was a great mother and a loyal friend she could talk you out of any depressing mood.The love she gave so freely will never be forgotten. I will hold all the special memories close to my heart.She was like a second mother to me and many more. So shoulders back chest out we all march on!! Let me take this opportunity to express our deep sorrow on the sad ocassion of 
Shirley's passing. We didn't know her well but enough to realize that she had genuine love for those close to home and those far away. She managed to show that love despite her debilitating illness.
Our sympathy goes out you and the family.
I'm sure she was greatly loved and while death is difficult, there is also some comfort in it.
