Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Sunday, October 4th, 2015 at the age of 69. Predeceased by her beloved husband Henry. Devoted mother of Steven and Stephanie. Cherished Nana of Adrian, Alyssa, Ainsley and Bryanna. Dear sister of Ken (Mary). Sadly missed by her aunt Betty Prinz (Martin). Doris will be fondly remembered by her family and friends in Canada, Netherlands and Germany. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, October 9th from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, October 10th, at 2:30 p.m. Donations to the Arthritis Society or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
