Passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday, April 9th, 2013, in her 97th year. Devoted wife of the late Carl for 51 years. Loving mother of Michael, and Mary Anne (Steven Walz). Cherished grandmother of Matthew. Predeceased by younger brothers Frank Hooper and Morris Hooper. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews, Donna and her husband Arnold Mathus, Ronald and his wife Carol Hooper, Gary and his wife Judy Hooper, Bruce and his wife Judy Hooper, David Hooper and his partner Jim, Paul Hooper, and Dana Hooper. She will be missed by many beloved nieces and nephews by marriage from near and far and numerous grandnieces and nephews. Memorial Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Sunday, April 14th from 2 – 5 p.m. Memorial Service will be held at ST. MATTHEW’S ANGLICAN CHURCH (135 Wilson Rd. S., Oshawa) on Monday, April 15th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Matthew’s Anglican Church would be appreciated.
