Passed away peacefully at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, October 10th, 2012, in his 86 year. Beloved husband of the late Mabel (nee Young). Loving father of Bill (Mary) and Bob (Betty-Anne). Adored grandfather of Libby, Sherry, Janice, Mike, Bill Jr. and Adam. Great grandfather to eight and great great grandfather to one. Dear brother of Effie Shewan. Predeceased by his brothers Johnny and Everett, and his sister Edith. Dear son of the late William and Martha Jane Kelly. Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Friday, October 12th from 12:30 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
