Charles E. “Chuck” Johnson, 84, of Yoder, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at Hospice Home. He was born July 24, 1930 in Fort Wayne to the late Harry E. and Celeste (France) Johnson. He was a truck driver, retiring in 1994. He graduated from Infantry Officer's Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA as a Lieutenant and served in the Korean War. Living Faith Missionary Church has served as a loving church home. He was a faithful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved wood working, and being a greeter and usher at church for many years. He enjoyed having friends in for coffee and playing games, he will be missed. He is survived by his wife, Donna M. (Rinehart) Johnson of Yoder; son, Marc (Rita) Johnson of Yoder, Debra D. (Roger) Mason of Texas, and Nancy R. (Tim) Eiland of Mississippi; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral service will be on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11AM at Living Faith Missionary Church, 17718 Bluffton Road, Yoder, IN 46798 with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation is also Friday, March 13, 2015 from 5 to 8 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill Street, Ossian, IN 46777. Memorials may be made to Living Faith Missionary Church.
