E. Jeannette Blair, 100, of Fort Wayne, passed away, Sunday, July 6, 2014. She was born on May 21, 1914 in Fort Wayne to the late Samuel D. and Cora H. (Bradbury) Smith. She worked as a homemaker but also in women’s fashion at Hutner’s Paris Fashion. She enjoyed bowling for many years and was a former member of First Presbyterian Church, Ossian. Surviving family include her son, Brad (Becky) Blair; grandchildren, Brian (Kelly) Blair, Barbara (Jeff) Sorg, Shannon (Jasun) Blocher, Brandon (Teanllely) Blair, Shane (Michele) Blair, Chad (Chanda) Blair, 16 great grandchildren; and a daughter in law, Kim Blair. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her sons, Jerral and Stanley; two sisters, and one brother. A funeral service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian with visitation starting at 11:00 am. Memorials may be made to Golden Years Homestead. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
