Harriett B. Dailey, 96, of Warren, formerly of Bluffton, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2015. She was born October 14, 1918 in Bluffton to the late Arthur and Genevive (Chronister) Porter. She worked at a number of different jobs, but mostly as a waitress. She was a member at First Church of Christ, Bluffton. Surviving family include her sons, Phillip (Ann), Porter (Carolyn), and Dennis (Rusty) Dailey; nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, Robert Dailey; sisters, Margaret Parks, Esther Gavin, Thelma Burk, Ruth Micklitch, Georgiana Arnold, and Helen Costello. A funeral service will be 11:00 am on Friday, May 1, 2015 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery, Tocsin. Memorials may be made to First Church of Christ, Bluffton.
