

M. Eileen “Peanut” Roller, 92, of Fort Wayne, formerly of Ossian, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2014. She was born on December 20, 1921 in Yoder to the late Roland and Lura (Travis) Heche. She worked as a homemaker and later at Amoco Oil in Yoder. She was a member of Ossian United Methodist Church. She enjoyed knitting, painting and crocheting scrubbies for the Ossian United Methodist Church. She had just crocheted a baby blanket for her newest great grandbaby a few weeks ago. Surviving family include her children, Steve (Karen) Roller, Susan (Ken) Siela-Faus, Linda (Brad) Snider; grandchildren, Amy McGuire, Brian Roller, Michelle Richards, Erick Siela, Corey, Seth, and Joel Snider; great grandchildren, Ian and Jake Roller, and Taylor and Quest Richards; 6 step grandchildren, and 8 step great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband, J. Wayne Roller; and sisters, Berniece Ginter and Marscella Quackenbush. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at Ossian United Methodist Church, 201 West Mill St., Ossian with visitation one hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made Ossian United Methodist Church or Visiting Nurse.
