Ruth Shively, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 14, 2014. She was born on August 8, 1921 to the late Fred and Maria (Scheuman) Doehrman. She worked as a homemaker. Surviving family include her husband, Jack Shively; children, Michael (Jule) Shively, Richard (Linda) Shively, Judy (David) Baute; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Lutheran Life Villages Chapel, 6701 South Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne with visitation beginning at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund or Lutheran Life Villages Chapel Fund. Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals are handling arrangements.
